Hi. My name is Cara, and I've tried online dating. After much peer pressure and growing curiosity, I finally made an OKCupid profile. For those of you who don't know, OKCupid is a free online dating site popular with people in their 20's. After 2 weeks on the site, the jury is still out on whether online dating is awesome or awful. While I do enjoy the prospect of potentially meeting a really cool guy, I think I enjoy the creepy messages even more.
If adding an extra hour in the day will give me time to blog... then so be it.

Bachelor Recap Week 3
My prayers have been answered - they ARE starting every episode with Sean working out with his shirt off. #nocomplaints. 16 women left - a group date, two one-on-one dates but not everyone gets a date this week. Chris Harrison gets right into it by presenting the first date card. Lesley M: how long will this love last? I hope a long time because she's at the top of my faves. She also is wearing this adorable lace dress. They need to have a website called, "buy bachelorette fashion" where I can spend all my money buying all the cute things the girls on this show wear.

Epic Movie Quotes: Bee Movie
Whenever I watch football and a team tries to run the ball through the middle I always get mad. That trick NEVER WORKS. I find myself using a lesser known movie quote every time I watch football. Similarly to football players, Jerry Seinfeld in Bee Movie tries to fly through a closed window. It never works. Yes, I compare football players to dumb insects.

Top 9 Most Memorable Moments in Costa Rica
From December 28th - January 5th, I was living in paradise. My boyfriend invited me on his family vacation to Costa Rica where we spent 5 days in the jungle wilderness near the Arenal volcano and 3 days on the beautiful Tamorindo beach. Why The Academy Hates Leonardo DiCaprio
Oscar nominations came out and I am not surprised that Leonardo DiCaprio is not mentioned... once again. For some reason, the Academy HATES our boy Leo. Arguably one of the best actors of our time, Leo does not pick a movie that isn't going to be stellar. Throughout his career he has been nominated 3 times, once for supporting actor (What's Eating Gilbert Grape) and twice for best actor (The Aviator and Blood Diamond). I don't know about you, but I think it's about time he gets one of those statutes. Here's why:

Movie Review: Django Unchained
This week I saw Quentin Tarantino's new movie, Django Unchained. I didn't know much about the film other than Leonardo DiCaprio was in it (which means it is likely going to be amazing) so I decided to give it a chance. Overall, I wasn't disappointed. Like any true Tarantino movie, it was bloody, it made you uncomfortable, and there was an interesting story. Spoilers below so STOP READING if you want to see this movie!

From 1996 to 1997 the Spice Girls ruled the world. Not just the music world, but the candy world as well. Spice Girls lollipops were all the rage and each lollipop came with the greatest prize of all... a sticker. Sadly, these stickers were VERY sticky. I still have remnants stuck to my furniture today.
