Probably the most well known movie in the world and still one of the most quoted movies in the world. Nothing deserves the label "epic" more than The Wizard of Oz. Lot's of quotes come from this movie but this one sticks out the most for me.

The Future of the Movies
Nothing is better than a trip to the movies. The dark room, the smell of popcorn, and the giant screen is all I need to make me happy. However, there are some theatres that are nicer than others. The ones by me are pretty old, sticky floors, not the most comfortable seats. Some don't even have cup holders! But still. I go to the movies because I love it.

12 Things I Want For Social Media This Year
This was originally posted on Likeable Media's blog.
Dear Santa,
It’s that time of year again where we get to write you letters and ask you for things. The past two years you have really pulled through and delivered some great additions to the social media industry. When I asked for more personalized Facebook pages, you gave me Timeline! When I asked for the next big thing, you gave me Pinterest! Now it’s a new year and I have newdemands requests for you. Please make my wishes come true!

Trailer: Man of Steel
Superman movies have notoriously had a rough road in Hollywood. There is also the curse of Superman that leaves anyone starring as Superman without a career. When I heard about the Man of Steel movie I was skeptical but the trailer does give me hope that this could be great. Not to mention, the cast of this movie is surreal. Take a look below and let me know what you think!

#ThrowBack Thursday: Orangina
Remember when you were a kid and you would consume any food or beverage item if it came in the right packaging? My personal favorites were Dunkaroo's and this strange multi-colored bread they sold at the local supermarket. Yes, you heard me, my mom actually used to send us to school with sandwiches made from bread sporting the colors green, blue, pink, and yellow. I was the envy of everyone at school. (Okay, envy is a bit of a stretch, but my sandwiches were always a conversation starter!)

Why I'd Be the Worst Candidate on the Bachlorette
The buzz at work this week has been all about ABC's upcoming season of the Bachelor, featuring Sean Lowe - the runner up of last season of the Bachelorette. He's blonde, hot, charming, hot, and often shirtless and hot, which made me fall in love with him last season. He will now have 25 ladies fighting for his love and I am excited to announce that I will be blogging weekly on his season as will my internet buddy Scott Muska (he's a lot funnier than I am and blogged last season's Bachelorette - check his work out here).

TV Review: Season Finale of Dexter
Sunday night was the season finale of Dexter and now we have to wait a whole 9 months to see how this epic story is going to end. Tonight had a LOT of story lines to address and gave us a lot of surprises. The last couple of years the show has been widely criticized for jumping the shark ::cough cough:: by me ::cough cough:: but this season, and this episode especially, has been pretty awesome. Spoilers below! Seriously, stop reading if you haven't watched it yet.

When You Are Overreacting (And When You're Not)
Since entering the dating world, I have learned a lot about myself. One of those things being that I am a bit crazy and tend to... overreact at times. The reason I have no problem admitting this is partially because I am surrounded by crazypants people who overreact to everything. When you overreact, you almost know it is happening but you still can't help it. To keep things in perspective, here's a way to see whether you are overreacting or not:

3 Reasons Why I Love My Long Distance Relationship
Me and my man are in a long distance relationship. Granted right now he's only 3 hours away and at most when he's at his hometown he's 6 hours away (not like across the country either)....but he's not here in the city with me. Some days I really hate the distance between us (that blog to come soon), but most days I can appreciate what we have and here are the 3 reasons why:

Movie Review: Silver Linings Playbook
Silver Linings Playbook starring Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, and Robert Dinero, was the best movie I've seen in theaters all year. It reminded me a great deal of Garden State (aka my favorite movie of all time). I laughed, I teared, I cringed. I have to say I was very weary about seeing Jennifer Lawrence sans bow and arrow but WOW. Award winning performance. The most memorable moments for me are listed below. *SPOILERS* do not read past this point if you don't want the movie ruined.

Epic Movie Quotes: Toy Story
The best part about this quote is that you can use it in two ways: (1) to make fun of someone or (2) to be inspirational. Plus it is said by Tom Hanks (which must be a shock since I NEVER use Tom Hanks quotes...). Check out today's epic movie quote: Disney style!
