In high school, everyone seems to find their place in a clique, deemed for 4 years by a name or title based on who they associate with. Back to school season is in full force – don’t let your social strategy get sucked into one and only one clique. In order to make this school year a successful one, be sure to take away a lesson from each standard high school clique.

#ThrowbackThursdays: Nickelodeon Prizes
When you apply for a reality show or game show nowadays you are in it for the big bucks. Even the lowest paying shows have you walking away with a couple thousand dollars. However, some gifts are just priceless such as the hush puppies and encyclopedia CDs you used to get on a Nickelodeon game show. Watch and learn how to get a contestant excited.

Would You Go To The Movies By Yourself?
What?! Go to the movies by yourself?! Who would do such a thing?!? Me of course! Let me tell you, it was liberating. Let me explain how this came about. A movie came out that I wanted to see. Nobody was available that night to see it. I didn't want to wait until the next weekend so I asked myself out on a date. (I said yes).

Epic Movie Quotes: Clerks
When you're having a bad day at work (or anywhere really) I often recall Dante's bad day in Clerks. Frankly, he wasn't even supposed to be there. Every time something goes wrong, he reminds us and rightfully so. Feel free to use this quote freely, even if you were supposed to be in that day.

5 Funny Movies With 5 Funny Songs
When watching a musical you are expecting so hear some catchy tunes. When watching a comedy you don't necessarily assume that you will find a catchy song. However, these movies deliver my two favorite things - original music and big laughs. The following movies have not only made me laugh but have also given me music that gets stuck in my head from time to time. These songs are ridiculous, yet awesome. Enjoy the musical stylings of the non-musical:

Epic Movie Quotes: The Mighty Ducks
I love The Mighty Ducks. There is nothing more inspirational than a speech from EMILIO! aka Gordon Bombay. Whether in junior hockey, the olympics, or a really fancy high school, always remember these wise words:

2 weeks into these #throwbackthursday vlogs and Cara and I are already slacking! SORRY to anyone who enjoys seeing our faces every week. This is my official word that we will make an amazing video for you next week. Book Review: ROOM
A week after reading this book, I find myself bringing it up in every conversation I have. A huge thank you to Mallorie for letting me steal 20 books off her kindle - this being one of them. This book has opened my eyes to the world, seeing everything that seems so ordinary in a completely new perspective. *spoiler alerts coming so stop now if you don't want to know what happens *

Epic Movie Quotes: Who Framed Roger Rabbit
This is not your typical cartoon. It is highly inappropriate but also very funny. Although the movie may be lesser known, some of the characters have found a place in pop culture history. One of the main ones being Jessica. And here is her infamous quote.

Book Review: Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
I'll start off by saying that Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn was a great book and I highly recommend it. The book discusses the story of a married couple, Nick and Amy, and Amy's disappearance. To say that the book was a roller coaster is an understatement. Both #25hour bloggers (Shari and I) have read the book and we end with differing opinions. The real question is, who's side are you on? I honestly can't decide but below lays out some reasons that argue both. Spoilers below! Stop reading if you want to read the book and enjoy it! * Shari's Note: This is probably one of the best books I've ever read and if you haven't gotten your hands on it yet, you are severely missing out.

#ThrowbackThursday: O-Town
Before Making The Band was tainted by Diddy, it was a show that found brand new boy bands. The most memorable (and our favorite) was the band O-Town with their smash hit, Liquid Dreams. Yes, the title of the song is Liquid. Dreams. lol.

Whatever Happened to Sam?
I used to have this best friend. Her name was Samantha, or Sam, as we called her. For three glorious years, Christina, Sam and I spent 98% of our time together. We'd go on AIM, play SNOOD, listen to CDs, watch movies that made us cry, and snoop her sister's diary. Her apartment had this tiny balcony. I remember the three of us sitting out there til the wee hours of the morning, watching the moon cast shadows on the street. I wish I could remember what our 12 year old selves talked about all the time, but silence was not a sound often heard.

How We Climbed Mount Everest...Sort Of.
At the beginning of the summer, Cara approached me with this crazy idea. "Sign up for this 5K with me!" she said. My initial response was a "hell no". But she said free teeshirts were involved and that a bunch of us from work would do it together. So I gave in and signed up. Now for some background, I am NOT a runner. I've done P90X and I Zumba on a weekly basis, but I get winded when I run for the subway or the bus. I used the $50 fee as motivation to get my ass in running shape. I ran twice a week for about a month or so and was able to run 2 miles before wanting to collapse. Then I got distracted and didn't run for a month. Suddenly, the run was a week away. I told Cara I was screwed and we'd never finish the 5K.
