Moneyball starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill was overall a very entertaining film. While it was a little long and slow in parts, overall it was a feel-good movie that highlights the underdogs. One of the things that makes good movies even better are when they are based on a true story. For example, after seeing The Help, all I could think of was, "Wow that was good! If only it was a true story!" Luckily for movie-goers, this movie was based a true story... or so they say.

6 Movies Scenes That Will Make You Cry Every Time
Sometimes you need a good cry and one of the quickest ways to do that is by watching a really sad movie. I created this list after crying like a baby in front of my television the other day. Yes I know it is fictional (and sometimes even animated) but I still can't control myself. To make the cut on this list the movie scene has to make you cry every time, no matter what point you started tuning in to the movie, and the movie can't be completely depressing. Good movies make you laugh, cry, get emotional etc. I can't stand the movies that make you cry from beginning to end. What a downer! (For example: Don't see I Am Sam or Blood Diamond! What seriously depressing films.)

True Blood: Vampires, Werewolves, Faeries, OH MY!
I'm not going to lie and say that I have drank the vampire cool aid. I am not into Twilight and I have never even seen The Vampire Diaries. It seems as if everywhere I turn, it is all about vampires! If I have to choose something vampire related, I would probably go with True Blood. My boyfriend watches it so I've seen a few episodes and I admit, it isn't terrible! Frankly, there is just too much vampire sex for me in that show and I am WAY confused about all the characters and the powers and stuff. Strangely enough, I was sent an infographic that outlines the supernatural powers in the show. Will I like the show anymore? Maybe not, but at least I might understand it now! Check it out:

Another Snow White Movie? Trailer For 'Mirror Mirror'
I feel like it always works out this way. First there was A Bug's Life and Antz. Then there was the werewolf versus vampire phases. And now fairy tales. Just last week I shared the trailer for the new film Snow White and the Huntsman starring Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron. Now I have for you the other Snow White inspired film coming out soon, Mirror Mirror. I have a feeling both are going to be very different. This movie is definitely more of a comedy, more by the book, and I just love the cast! Take a look for yourself:

Take Time To: Check Out 'The Hunger Games' Trailer
Yes it has finally arrived! We were given a 15 second teaser that showed us absolutely nothing but now we get the full length trailer and we will not be disappointed. It looks like they show the whole beginning of the movie but I trust that there are more surprises in store. See for yourself!

The Highly Anticipated 'Snow White And The Huntsman' Trailer Has Arrived
Although Kristen Stewart is probably my least favorite "actress" in the whole world, I am still pretty excited about the upcoming Snow White film. Hollywood has been a buzz about this movie and I can't wait until it's release date. Another Snow White adaptation is coming out around the same time, but I have a feeling they will be different. If you take a look at this trailer you will see that Stewart does not play your typical Snow White. The way this looks almost reminds me of the new show on ABC, Once Upon A Time. Take a look at the trailer and see for yourself!

TV Review: The New Girl Has Found Its Stride
First episode- meh. Second episode- I cracked a smile. Third, fourth, and so on- It just keeps getting better. There were some pretty promising new shows this fall season, one of them being New Girl. I wasn't the only one excited for this show. I think we all have a soft part in our hearts for Zooey Deschanel even when she was being a bi-atch in 500 Days of Summer. When I first saw the show, I really thought it was going to be a flop. Zooey's character was awkward, and it was sort of uncomfortable to watch. With the encouragement of some friends, I have continued watching and I have been pleasantly surprised. (Don't continue reading if you haven't seen Episode 5 yet! There will be spoilers!)

I Finally Understand The Moms From 'Toddlers And Tiaras'
Disclaimer: I promise to never write a post like this ever again. As a stage mom, you just can't help it sometimes.
Anyone who has seen Toddlers and Tiaras is thinking, "what the hell is that matter with these parents? Why are they putting their children on display?!" I too used to think that about those crazy stage moms, that is until I became them. Although I don't have children, I do have dogs. One of my dogs is 16 years old, smells like an old man, and is the king of the household. My other dog is a plump 4 year old who is 18 pounds overweight. Max, the old man, is past the years of me torturing him and dressing him up in stupid outfits. He deserves to be left in peace. Bruce, the fat one, is still young enough to be put on display.

Take Time To: Use Your #25hours!
Today is the best day in the world. Today is the day when you get 25 hours in a day... for real! Yes, you guessed it. It is Day Light's Savings! We all woke up this morning, whined about how late it was, then had the "aha" moment where we turned back the clock and realized that we wok up pretty early! Although my intent was to be productive, I ended up using my extra hour to sleep. Oh well, there is always next year!

3D Films Are Cool, But Not That Cool
The first thing I said when I saw this was, "please let this not be real." It looks to be real to me but I just can't fathom the idea that someone has fallen for this. Basically, the article below describes a woman who claims she got pregnant from watching a 3D porn flick. What's even worse, is that her husband (who has been away for a year) believes her! He may believe her now, but wait until he sees that his baby looks exactly like the mailman... Read for yourself below:

Do You Drink Enough Water?
One thing I am constantly told on my quest to be healthy is "drink more water." I don't know what it is, but I don't really like water. I'm snobby about tap water and I hate paying for bottled water. An old SUNY Albany classmate of mine is currently interning at a company that sells water and asked if me and a couple other blogger friends would like to test the product. I said, "Sure! Why not! I'm supposed to drink water!" So we were sent some water and I was pleasantly surprised.
