Could I Be Any More Excited For The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Trailer?!

Just says after I published my review of the Millenium Series, the full length trailer for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trailer is released. We have seen shorter glimpses but mostly flashes of excitement and no real substance. This trailer does not disappoint and will make all fans extremely excited for the movie opening in December. If you want to see this movie, there is still time to read the book first. You don't have to read all three but you should start with the first book. I recommend reading all three eventually of course but the books are always better than the movie and you don't want to ruin the book for yourself, right?! Brace yourself for the amazingness that is the below trailer...

Tweet Your Way To A Job At Likeable #likeablejob

This blog was originally posted on Likeable Media's blog.

My head has been spinning from all the exciting things happening at Likeable recently. Some of things I am most proud of include our CEO writing a New York Times bestselling book called Likeable Social Media. We also recently ranked 118 on the Inc. 500/5000 Fastest Growing Private Businesses. Even more recently, we found out that two of our employees, Jenna Lebel and Mallorie Rosenbluth, are being honored as Social Media Stars by the Social Media Society. On top of all that, Likeable is growing and we need some fresh, new talent. We want you to be part of the Likeable excitement. That’s right people, Likeable Media is hiring!

Take Time To: Stay Home And Relax

I had the best day yesterday. Do you know what I did? NOTHING. Yes, I enjoyed sitting at home and doing nothing. I read, ordered delivery, drank some margaritas, played Super Nintendo, got some ice cream, watched a movie, and lounged. It sounds like a lot but really, it is a whole lot of nothing and I enjoyed every minute of it. Sometimes you have tons to do but all you really want to do is nothing at all. Give in to that need to sit and relax. It'll be the best decision you make all week!

The stars are aligning and Fall TV is back and better than ever! All my favorite shows are coming back and I will be spending a lot more time on my couch. Tonight was the season premiere of Glee. Last season was meh so I was excited to see if this season would redeem itself. For those of you who didn't catch the premiere, here's what you missed on GLEE!

Who Needs Crowdsourcing When You Have Facebook Polling?

I have a dilema. Do I (a) Call up all my friends and ask their opinion? Should I (b) Posy my question to an online message board? Or (c) Post my question to Facebook and Twitter? Well, as tempting as (a) sounds, I decided not to spend a few hours making phone calls. I also didn't go with (b) because I'm not sure I trust the opinions of strangers who check message boards all day. So I went with (c) and boy was I happy with the results.

Book Review: The Millenium Series

Everyone told me to read this book. I am not an avid reader. I've read the Harry Potter books 3 times but have never ventured past that series. I read a lot of stuff I don't want to read (i.e. LAW) that I don't normally like to read. However, ever since I got a Kindle, I have been on a reading binge. I now have something to do on my morning commute and I am thrilled. I was able to breeze through the three books in Stieg Larson's series and here is my take on the books:

Take Time To: Never Forget

I'm sure you all remember where you were and what you were doing the day the planes hit the Twin Towers 10 years ago. I know I do. I was sitting in my eighth grade Spanish class when I heard the news over the loud speaker. Kids kept getting picked up by their parents and I had no idea why. We will never forget September 11, 2001. Below is one particularly good commercial I saw paying respect to New York. Is this genius and sweet or tacky and distasteful? You decide:

A History Of @Klout In Honor Of Their 100 Millionth Score

Originally posted on Likeable Media's blog.

Officially as of yesterday, Klout has calculated over 100 million scores. For those of you who don’t know, Klout is tool used to measure users’ influence across different social networking sites. Each person is given a score between 1 and 100, 1 being the person who has never tweeted before, 100 being Justin Bieber. Since its launch in 2009, Klout has come a long way and in honor of their accomplishment I’m going to share some of the highlights!

Take Time To: Have A Girls Night Out

We are busy folks. We don't have much time to ourselves. We certainly don't have time to go out and have fun. Any free time you have you just want to spend sleeping in bed. Sometimes however, you need to suck it up. Get out of your pajamas and get your ass out of the house. Whether it is a special occasion, or just some much needed fun, you should really go out and spend time with the girls (Miley Cyrus was on to something)! Boys, you are equally entitled to have a boys night out. Take time this week to go out, have fun, and make some bad decisions! It may seem like a hassle at the time, but you will be happy you decided to go.

Going Through Airport Security For Dummies

The majority of the people you see at the airport have been there before. Very rarely do I see someone who really looks like this is their first time at an airport. Even with this experience at airports, for some reason people forget all common sense when it is there turn to walk through security. Before I begin this rant, let me give you some perspective.
