I am going to be honest. I saw the ads for this show and thought it looked cute but never had any intention of watching it. I was happy to see that the guy from Road Trip and Zack Morris were back in action and on the small screen though. It wasn't until I received a Klout Perk offering me free copies of the first couple episodes that I decided to watch it. I got excited for two reasons: (1) I love free things and I was excited that my Klout earned me something, and (2) now I had a reason to support two of my favorite actors from the past. In honor of transparency, I was in NO way asked to write a review or blog about the episodes I received. I just liked them so much that I decided it was blog worthy!

Twitter Randomly Looks A Little More Like StumbleUpon
Twitter has added a cool new feature that looks a little but like StumbleUpon. A new little tab appears in the top left corner of your Twitter page that looks like two crossing arrows. If you hoover your mouse over the arrows it says, "Jump to someone you follow." If you click on the arrows, it does just that and takes you to a page at random of someone you follow. This addition may seem pointless to some, but I see some true value here.

Take Time To: See The Great Outdoors
Being busy all the time is fun but the one down side is that you never see the outdoors. All day long I sit in an office, glimpsing the outdoors only when I quickly grab lunch. Then I hop on a subway and a bus and spend my night in the basement of a school. By the time I see the outdoors, it is nighttime. There is something depressing about being indoors all day long. That is why this week me and my boyfriend went to Alley Pond Park, a local park in my neighborhood. It was so nice to hike in the woods, play in the playground, and just enjoy being outdoors. Whether you live in the country or in a big city, I guarantee you can find a nice park to enjoy. Grace the outdoors with your presence!

The Muppets Take YouTube
It has been a long time since the last Muppets movie and these guys are coming back with a bang. Over the past several months, the Muppets have been leaving tons of parody videos all over YouTube. They all lead up to the first official trailer. Sesame Street is better known for doing parodies on YouTube, such as the Smell Like A Monster video of Grover as the Old Spice Guy. However, the Muppets can hold their own! Check out the follow parody videos that all lead up to the first trailer of the new Muppets movie:

How To Get A Job Using Social Media

Take Time To: Be A Tourist
Welcome to the very first edition of Take Time To. Every week I’ll be telling you one thing you should take time to do this week. We all live crazy busy lives between relationships, school, family, and work but there are some things that are worth slowing down for. This week you should take time to be a tourist. On Friday I was able to take advantage of a rainy afternoon with my friend and decided to be a tourist in New York City. We walked a couple blocks over to Times Square and enjoyed what the city had to offer. We went to Toys 'R Us and rode the carousel, we visited the Disney Store, and stopped by the M&M store. You don't have to live in NYC to take advantage of your city and be a tourist! Enjoy what your city has to offer.

Words With Friends And More Fun Apps
Has anyone else noticed the Words With Friends phenomenon? I knew a lot of people played and everything, but it wasn't until I walked around my office and saw numerous interns playing with their phones that I noticed the obsession. I thought they were probably just text messaging, but with a little more investigating (and sneakily peering over shoulders) I've found that almost every one of them is in the middle of a Words With Friends game! I can understand an addiction to an app. In fact, I have a few addictive apps of my own. Here are some of my favorite apps to play with:

Book Review: Likeable Social Media by Dave Kerpen
Disclaimer: The author of this book is my boss, however in our company we value transparency. This means that I am giving my actual opinions and am not just trying to suck up to my boss.
Dave Kerpen's book, Likeable Social Media: How to Delight Your Customers, Create an Irresistible Brand, and Be Generally Amazing on Facebook (and other social networks), has just released in book stores this week. Since I work with the author, I managed to snag an advanced copy so I got to read it a little early. Even though I work with the author and have heard these stories many times, I still managed to learn something.

Best Takeout In NYC & Chance To Win!
As a new blogger I am still defining my voice. While I am in no way a food blogger, I still love food! I may not know how to cook but I am excellent at ordering out. If your family is anything like mine, I'm sure you have the "What are we having for dinner" conversation every night for at least an hour before someone finally makes a decision. It always comes down to Italian or Chinese (which can get very boring very fast). Being in a city like New York means being around tons of diversity. Why do we never take advantage of the culture that surrounds us?! I am one of the pickiest eaters in the world and even I can find something to eat in this city! Here are some of other genres of takeout choices I frequent:

Why The MTV Movie Awards Is Not An Awards Show
Once upon a time, MTV threw some pretty entertaining award shows. No, they are not the most prestigious and they are not to be taken seriously, but it was always fun to watch. The MTV Movie Awards gave those silly teen movies a chance to walk away with a prize instead of the favorites from the Oscars and Golden Globes. However, over the past few years, the MTV Movie Awards haven't just gotten bad, they have become unwatchable. There is only one thing to blame... One word: Twilight.

Must-Have Items When Attending A Conference
Originally posted on Likeable Media's blog
It is Internet Week, which means there have been lots of conferences (including #LikeableU!). A few weeks ago, I attended “Blog World Expo” in NYC. This is the first conference I have ever attended and was very excited about it! Although I registered in advanced and printed out the schedule beforehand, I still felt unprepared! After experiencing this conference first hand, here are some must-have items I recommend you bring to make sure you get the most out of your experience.

How Do You Handle Being Stressed Out
If you thought this was going to be a HOW TO blog with helpful hints for dealing with stress, you were wrong. In fact, I am really asking, how do you deal with stress? If you have the answer for how to deal with stress, please share this knowledge! I know a ton of students and workers who would love to know your secret! Okay, so I may not have the answers for how to deal with stress, but I can say with certainty that we all experience it.

The Ultimate Disney Compilation
By now I am sure you have caught on to my love of all things Disney. In reality, who doesn’t love Disney? Between the music, movies, theme parks, and merchandise, how can you not fall in love with the whole Disney effect? A while ago I came across a video of a guy, Nick Pitera, singing both the male and female parts of A Whole New World from Aladdin. If you weren’t watching the video, you would have never known it wasn’t two people. He flawlessly played both Aladdin and Jasmine in this viral YouTube video. I recently came across another one of his videos, also Disney themed, and couldn’t look away. This time he plays 6 different characters and touches on multiple Disney classics. Plus, there are props!!! Watch and be amazed. I promise that these next 9 minutes won’t be a waste!
