What is your favorite Disney movie? Mine is Hercules. While discussing some of our favorite Disney movies at work today (yes, this is a regular occurrence), it dawned on me that some of our favorite childhood movies aren’t necessarily the best guide in life. While these movies are wildly entertaining and truly classics, they are sometimes politically incorrect and send a bad message! I know what you’re thinking- “Huh?! Disney?! Are you sure you are thinking of the same movies???” Let me explain myself a little further with a few examples…

The Importance Of Being Busy
I live a pretty busy life (as do the rest of you)... I work all day, go to school all night, and spend my weekends catching up on work, sleep, and more work. I know, it sounds pretty exciting... In fact, the name of my blog was inspired by my busy life. However, for the past 2 weeks I have been off from school. This means that after work, I come home. That's it. Sure I stay at the office later than normal and work right now is pretty hectic, but it is just weird to sit for a moment and not be busy. I haven't actually had time to watch a Netflix film in over a month and now I have send back 3 this week! Not only that, but with my weekends being free from school work, I find myself excessively spending money since shopping is the only other way to get out of the house.

I Thought I Would Never Like Justin Bieber... Never Say Never
I am not a huge Bieber fan. Yea, I like his music and yea he's a cute kid, but I am in no way a "Belieber" and I think he's kind of arrogant. However, after watching the Justin Bieber film, Never Say Never, my opinion of him has changed. Here's the deal... The kid is adorable and he's actually talented. You want to be mad that he's this big-headed little kid, but the reality is, wouldn't you be too if you were him??? How is it that my opinion of the Biebs changed so much in only an hour and a half? The only explanation is that this movie is total propaganda. How can anyone see this movie and not love Justin Bieber? Below is my review of Never Say Never:

The Future of Greys Anatomy Looks Grey
Is it just me, or was this season of Grey's Anatomy the worst it has ever been? While many of my co-workers disagree, I would have to see that I am very disappointed with Grey's this year. I have been a die-hard fan since the beginning and have been watching the show through its most outrageous times. I actually liked the episodes with the bomb in the body, the three-episode ferry cleanup, and the shoot out. In fact, those outrageous moments were probably my all time favorite episodes. I didn't even mind the episodes where Izzy was having sex with her dead fiance in her mind and when Meredith died, crossed over the afterlife, and then came back to life. While those situations were definitely a stretch from reality, I still stood by and defended the show. However, after this season, I'm not sure I can do the same...

Bing Leverages Facebook In New TV Commercial
Although television commercials have begun to jump on the social networking bandwagon, none have done it quite like Bing. I've seen cell phone companies talk about how you could use Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare on the phone. I have seen credit card companies leverage Twitter in their ads. However, all those ads pale in comparison to the new Bing campaign. Bing emphasizes the fact that their integration with Facebook allows users to see if their friends have liked the website they are searching. Bing totally gets it. They are showcasing the importance of the 'like' button and proving that people trust their friends over anything else. Take a look at the below ad and tell me what you think!

It Is The End Of The World As We Know It
Or so says Twitter... So many people have been tweeting about the end of the world since it will be Rapture day. Since I am not religious and I had no idea what Rapture day was, I decided to do some intense research (aka reading up on Wikipedia). According to the Christian bible, there will be a judgment day (which some groups have calculated to be tomorrow) where true believers will be raptured out of this world to join their savior. As for the "non-believers," we get to hang around and wait for the world to officially end sometime in October. For those of you who are religious, please forgive me for butchering this explanation.

Marriage Proposal For The Movie Buff
Seeing as I am a huge movie buff myself, when I saw this marriage proposal, I will admit that I teared up a bit. Thanks to YouTube, former private and intimate moments can not be shared with the whole world. Because of this, I have watched creative couples walking down the aisle, musical marriage proposals, and many more adorable videos. However, after being sent this video from a friend, I am officially jealous. For any movie-goer or lover of the theatre, this movie trailer wedding proposal tops as one of the best wedding proposals of all time...

Are You Obsessive Compulsive On Social Media?
What are your obsessive compulsive tendencies? We all have them. Well, maybe not all of us, but a lot of people I know are very particular about certain things (myself included). It is true that all my DVDs must be in alphabetical order and if they are out of order I notice immediately. It is also true that I hate when Facebook tells me I have a notification, when in fact I do not and the little number (1) just won't go away! I also can't stand when the front windshield wipers of a car and the back windshield wipers are not in sync. Yes, I also have to reprint a piece of paper if I accidentally highlighted one word too many. Okay so I'm weird and I accept that. One thing I have learned from working in social media though is that you can't be obsessive compulsive about everything.

Movie Review: Dual Perspectives On Thor
I am by no means a fan of comic books. With that being said, I have seen every comic book movie from Spiderman, to X-Men, to Iron Man. There is something about the Marvel and DC franchises that equals to box office gold. In anticipation of The Avengers movie that is coming out in 2012, Marvel has been releasing movies that introduce the characters of the Avengers. This weekend I saw the latest installation, Thor. I have my own opinion of the film but I was curious to see how a true comic book fan felt of the film. That's when I decided that this movie review would come with a twist-- I asked co-worker and comic book lover, Frank Ramblings, to give his take on the film too, Here's the take on Thor from the perspective of the average movie goer and a true comic book fan.

I Don’t Have Time To Blog
A common excuse… Everyone likes the idea of blogging but nobody seems to have the time to do it. Sadly, I am no different. We all lead busy lived filled with jobs, school, family, friends, etc. Who really has time to blog?!
The answer is, everyone has time to blog. The time we spend making excuses for why we can’t have a blog could be used towards writing a post. I am officially putting aside the excuses and taking a plunge into the blogoshpere. I know what you’re thinking- “Just what the world needs, another blog that only posts one every three months.” That is not my intention. Regardless of the fact that we have no time in the day to blog, I promise to make time. My name is Cara, and I am officially a blogger.
